Taiwan is known for its technological brilliance, and at Convergence India 2017, Taiwan Excellence will be showcasing over 100 products by some of the leading Taiwanese brands. The Taiwan Excellence is a platform to showcase quality products from Taiwan to the rest of the world by the Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs. The brands excelling in terms of R&D, Design Quality, Marketing and made in Taiwan, etc. are awarded Taiwan Excellence Award, founded in 1992 is recognized globally.
Taiwan Excellence Award represents the innovative and technological image of Taiwan’s most competitive industries. It is a symbol of outstanding reliability, innovation and value.
Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) along with the Bureau of Foreign Trade, MOEA, Taiwan (BOFT) together promotes homegrown brands under Taiwan Excellence through numerous trade shows and activities both internationally and within Taiwan.
This year, Taiwan Excellence (#DrivingInnovation), is hosting a product exhibition of the many splendid ICT products of several renowned Taiwan brands at the ongoing Convergence India 2017 on February 8-10 in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Some of the leading brands featured during Convergence India 2017 are MSI, a brand that resonates gaming experience; ASUS, which is a household name in India for superior laptops; Acer a well-known brand with product range includes laptop and desktop PCs, tablets, smartphones, monitors, projectors, etc. and Plustek, which is known for its world-class quality scanners.
The exhibition also features other prominent brands, such as Adata, widely known for its portable Storage devices (USB flash drives, USB hard drives, and memory cards); GIGAbyte, which supplies some of the most trusted motherboards, graphic cards and computer notebooks on the global market today; QNAP, a corporation specializing in networking solutions for file sharing, virtualization, storage management and surveillance applications and Edimax, an enterprise dedicated to design, development, manufacture and marketing of a broad range of networking applications.
We noticed a wide variety of innovative products from top Taiwanese brands ranging from Computer hardware and peripherals to Mobiles and computers, Designer Solar Panels, e-Scooters, etc.
Speaking of the initiative Mr. Scott Yang, the Director of TAITRA reaffirmed that ” Taiwan Excellence thrives on bringing in nothing but the best in class products from Taiwan. The products are not only limited to Technology but from various genres.” He firmly believes in Indian Governments vision of a Digital India and feels that campaigns like Taiwan Excellence and Make in India can no only co-exist and bridge digital divide empower consumers. He stated that the “All Our brands that are showcased here focus on best in class products and customer service and have an excellence reputation among the consumers.”
Convergence India serves as a platform to showcase the technologies used in the telecom, IT and broadcast and digital media sectors. Its purpose is to bring all the players from these industries together to help realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a digital India.
