Tail's up !!

Tails are amazing. Do you wish you had one? If you love climbing trees, you could use a prehensile tail, such as opossums have. Tails are part of the evolutionary package for many mammals. Animal’s back is made of a series of small bones stacked together called vertebra (plural is vertebrae). One way to tell the difference between monkeys and apes is that monkeys have tails and apes don't.

The phrase “have (one's) tail up” – would mean : To have an optimistic, confident, or happy outlook, mindset, or attitude.

with your tail up: If you do something with your tail up, you are happy and confident when you do it. People sometimes vary this expression, for example by saying that someone has their tail up or that something puts their tail up.

put a tail on (someone) is an idiom and would mean : to have someone follow (another person)

Tails assist animals in maintaining balance. The tail is used as an aid to help animals keep upright and balanced. The tail helps many mammals navigate tight spaces and small gaps, acting as a rudder to direct the animals through thick undergrowth. These bushy tails also serve a very important function in preserving their body-heat during their nightly and their wintry sleep. In cold weather animals with bushy tails will be found lying curled up with their tails laid carefully over their feet like a rug, and with their noses buried in the fur of the tail, which is thus used exactly in the same way and for the same purpose as we use respirators.

Interesting !
