The unlikely duo of T-Mobile and Betty Crocker are the latest from 2020 and thus a cake for 5G connectivity. The cellular operator uses baking to figure out why their spectrum is what customers should go with.
"When it comes to 5G, you have to have layers - low band, mid band and high band make for a delicious cake," said Neville Ray, President of Technology at T-Mobile, in a press release on Monday.

The three-layer Supercharged 5G Un-Carrier Layer Cake in T-Mobile Magenta is on the packaging. There is something written in icing on each layer - "Low Band Nationwide", "Mid-Band Metro" and "mmW densely urban". For a limited time, customers can select the packet of cake mix for making the 5G layer cake online free of charge.

CNET took a look at the link from T-Mobile, and by the time of publication, the carrier was already out of the pie mix. It's unclear if the mix will be back in stock, but 5G enthusiasts with a taste for baking can check T-Mobile's Twitter page for updates.
