‘SwissLeaks’: Former Pakistan Top Spy’s Name Features in Leaked List of Credit Suisse Account Holders

The former Top Pakistani spy, General Akhtar Abdur Rehman Khan, has appeared in the Pakistani profile-profile list with a Swiss bank account This list is accessed by the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung as part of ‘Swissleaks’ – a massive leakage from Credit Suisse, one of the largest private banks in the world. While leaks include Swiss bank accounts operating between 1940s and 2010, it does not cover current Credit Suisse operations.

This leak was reported to reveal information about 600 Swiss bank accounts related to 1,400 Pakistanis Amendidated in the list was General Akhtar Abdur Rehman Khan, the nearest aide from the former Pakistani Dictator Zia-ul-Haq. Khan and Haq died in a plane accident in 1988.
