The hottest golf GPS and scorecard app on the market, Swing by Swing, announces new initiative focused on promoting women in golf.
Mobile golf GPS developer Swing by Swing, which boasts over three million downloads, looks to expand its market reach with a new initiative targeting female golfers.
According to recent statistics, women golfers represent approximately 22% of the total golf population, which equates to roughly 4.7 million female golfers in the United States. Swing by Swing looks to engage female golfers of all ages by providing them with content curated specifically for them.
Swing by Swing already provides email news updates to more than 1.3 million members of the golf community worldwide. The company's launch of a Women's E-newsletter aims to create an intersection of finesse, sport and content curated specifically for women. “My goal is to share with the world why I love this beautiful game, in the hopes that more of my female friends will give it a shot,” said Monique Giggy, co-founder of Swing by Swing. The women's initiative will look to shine light on and increase the female presence in golf, spotlighting women's roles in golf businesses, on pro tours, in game improvement and more.
