What I absolutely love about this room is the color scheme. Let's take a closer look...The soft eggshell blue hues are perfect with the beige and gold tones. The chandelier is beautifully positioned in front of the curtain in the window, proportioned with the high headboard. The curtain is also accented with the dark curtain rod. Moving down the wall, the dark jewelry box matches the wood of the curtain rod and tray on the ottoman. This brings the eye toward the entire room. The gold and beige tones comes to life in the bedding with the eggshell blue throw pillows. Lastly, notice the gorgeous rug. The rug adds design, but doesn't take away from the focus of the room.

This bedroom is a great design for small rooms. The framed pictures above the headboard add height to the low ceiling. The soft yellow and gray color scheme is gorgeous, and the soft lighting only adds to the relaxation of the room. I love how this tranquil room has yellow! I tend to think of yellow as bright.
