The most hyped and most awaited movie of the season Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is finally here. The preview shows of the film have been concluded and here is an exclusive update on it.

At the outset itself let’s make it clear that this is a true blue family film without any mass elements on the lines of Sankranthi. So once the expectations are set let us move into the film.

Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is a very basic and simple film. A happy family has some problems and how it overcomes it. What the director has tried here is to pepper the film with small, little day to day moments and dramatize it for a big screen appearance. This is the films strength and also its weakness. It is strength because it has enough scope to get connected but the director loosed grip because of the dramatization part. This makes the film drag, especially in the second half where it should have strike a chord given the material on hand.

Seethamma Vakitlo Sirmalle Chettu is a very good attempt which is lost in translation. It might surely find some acceptance among the people who look for a change from routine mass movies. But it is far from being a classic it was projected to be and this then brings to the important aspect related to the film, the hype. The more you are hyped about this film the more you might disappoint. Keep the expectations in check. It’s a good one time watch and that’s about it.
