Suzuki launched its cheapest adventure tourer motorcycle, the V-Strom SX in India in 2022. As the new year begins, the Japanese two-wheeler company has come up with a new version of the bike. It now complies with OBD 2 (Emissions Standard) norms set by the government. As a result of this change, the price of the new version has increased by Rs 5,000 over the previous model. Now the 2025 Suzuki V-Strom SX will cost Rs 2.16 lakh (ex-showroom price).
The new Suzuki V-Strom SX has been launched in India
The bike is available in a total of three color options namely Champion Yellow No. 2, Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Sonoma Red. Suzuki has not upgraded the performance of this motorcycle. It has a 249.9 cc engine that produces 26.5 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 22.2 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The Suzuki V-Storm SX is known for its refinement and fuel efficiency. The bike has 19 inch front and 17 inch rear alloy wheels. Comes with tubeless tires. The bike has telescopic fork, monoshock suspension and disc brakes on two wheels. Windscreen, semi fairing, knuckle guard, and luggage rack make the bike touring friendly.
Notable features of the Suzuki V-Strom SX include LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity, LED headlamps, tail lamps and USB charger. It competes with Royal Enfield Himalayan, KTM 250 Adventure and Yezdi Adventure in the Indian market.
