Every respectable poll now shows a significant majority of the public approving the House holding its impeachment proceedings. But it gets worse for Trump. Polls are now starting to show that more people are also now favoring his removal from office. The three polls in the chart above all show significant moves toward support for removal.
The Politico / Morning Consult Poll was done on October 7th and 8th of a national sample of 1,991 registered voters, with a 2 point margin of error.
The Economist / YouGov Poll was done between October 6th and 8th of a national sample of 1,241 registered voters, with a 2.9 point margin of error.
The NBC News / Wall Street Journal Poll was done between October 4th and 6th of a national sample of 800 adults, and has a 3.46 point margin of error.
