In the aftermath of the Walder catastrophe, the number of victims and survivors that turned to Magen for support has drastically increased. Some called to disclose their abuse for the first time while others felt triggered and overwhelmed by the news and needed support, knowing that Magen was the address to turn to. Dedicated staff has spent countless hours fielding calls and offering resources and a listening ear.
This expose has raised critical awareness to the destruction that is sexual abuse, and has left us feeling helpless. Magen has been there all this time, doing the work  we are unequipped to do, and they need our help to continue saving lives, ensuring abusers are answerable to their crimes and helping one survivor at a time ( sometimes multiple at once).
