Hollywood’s newest superhero, Lupita Nyong’o covers the January issue of Vogue.
Lupita Nyong’o seems to discuss her upcoming, highly anticipated Marvel comic film, Black Panther inside the mag.
The Oscar winning actress plays Nakia in the film, one of Wakanda’s top spies, protecting the secretive nation’s interests around the globe, Lupita’s character is often undercover. But that doesn’t mean she blends in.
“I would say Nakia is very practical,” Lupita said about her character. “She dresses for the job at hand, but she doesn’t compromise her style.”
About the film:
T’Challa (played by Chadwick Boseman), after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king.
