SuperGeek heros animated series + competition
The SUPER GEEK HEROES are a unique group of super-kids... having fun in turn with a mission to learn! Their seven friendly 'super-powers' are derived from the three prime and four specific development areas of the 'Early Years Foundation Stage'.

These are... Personal, Social & Emotional Development, Understanding the World, Communication & Language, Literacy, Numeracy, Physical Development, and Creative Arts & Design. By introducing "superhero characters" to represent learning and development areas within EYFS, children (and adults) interact more effectively when they understand and relate to their meaning. The use of fun animated 3D characters in this way make children's learning and development cool, exciting and interesting right through their early years and beyond.

The series is shown on You Tube via many short episodes. They have recently added ten new episodes and I imagine there will be many more to come. All of the episodes are short lasting between 3-7 minutes long. There are 7 main characters in the series and each one teaches children a different thing.

· Personal, Social and Emotional Development - Suzi Smiles

· Understanding the World - Peter Planet
· Communication & Language - Vicky Voice
· Literacy - Jake Jotter
· Numeracy - Mille Maths
· Physical Development - Ant Active
· Creative Arts & Design - Ronnie Rock

Today me and Izebella have been watching a few of the episodes on SuperGeek heroes channel. I think the episodes are perfect for Izebellas age. They encourage learning in a friendly way. The colourful characters each have their own name and personality which children will start to recognise.

The episodes are also really short meaning Izebella doesn't lose interest in fact she wanted to watch more.

Izebella especially likes Milly Maths and Vicky voice. I think that's because they are girls in pink/purple.

Adults and kids can subscribe to SuperGeek heroes channel here. They have their own website too - http://www.supergeekheroes.com/.
