Two of our favorite people – and two of the most exciting independent labels around – Super Fan 99 and Alcopop! Records have collaborated to come up with a very special release for Cassette Store Day 2015. Featuring a track each from The Orielles, Zooz, Cotillon, Helen Love, Get Inuit and The Spills (that’s three bands each from the label’s respective rosterx), they’re looking for a Secret Seventh to complete the set. And that’s where you come in…
Set to join in with the collaborative spirit of Cassette Store Day and aiming to release more bands than the units pressed, the labels are looking for 50 acts – no matter how big or small and from every single genre – to be hand-recorded on to one of the gorgeous ocean glitter blue cassettes that will be released on the day of the event, 17 October.
If you make music (or even deliver spoken-word sets) and want to be considered, please send a track to [email protected]. But hurry, entries will not be accepted after 1 September!
