Hotels, Honey + Chai and something-else-beginning-with-H.
一. Somehow, there are just two weeks until Christmas Day! How on Earth did that happen?! After getting in a strop because I just didn’t feel festive enough, our Christmas tree is finally up and I’m back in Elfin Mish mode. I’ve even - somehow! - managed to finish my Christmas shopping and started the dreaded task of wrapping everything up with a mischievous puppy on the loose. It’s odd that December seems to lose its’ festive feel as you get older, isn’t it? Regardless of that, I’m totally excited to see my loved ones open their presents on Christmas morning!
二. Yesterday I popped into London to spend an evening at the citizenM Tower Hill hotel for a review on the blog. I’m going to prepare a full post on my stay but in short it was absolutely incredible and I’d absolutely recommend you stay there when you next visit London. I don’t think I could fault a single thing, I can’t wait to share everything with you soon.
三. It’s been fairly busy at Daisybutter HQ this past week whilst I’ve been catching up, post-holiday style, but I’m almost back up to speed with work and after that I have SO much to share on here. Think Bali photo diaries, restaurant reviews, outfit photos, an ode to my new favorite beauty gem and more.
四. My favorite French fancy is in London at the moment (and by that I mean Elodie!) so we headed out to get food and go shopping on Friday. After a failed attempt to eat at the Forest on the Roof in Selfridges, we settled on the Selfridges Kitchen before a little stroll around the beauty hall to pick up a Birchbox and over to Liberty to finish up on stocking fillers. Unfortunately on my train journey home, I ended up randomly having the worst panic attack I’ve ever experienced. It was pretty horrendous and totally paralysed me for a good 15 minutes. I hadn’t had one for around seven months so it’s set me back a little bit but I’m finally feeling a little better today. And the worst part? Once I’d come back round, I saw that the entire carriage of passengers were just facing their back to me!
五. We sent out a huge batch of Honey + Chai orders earlier this week after being out of studio. It’s so rewarding to see something I’ve worked on for so long finally begin to do well! We have some new stock arriving to the website tomorrow so be sure to check back to see it.
