Aubaine, Pokemon and Canada Goose plans.
Oh it’s been a week, hasn’t it?! Imposter syndrome, numerous events, a weird work week and just an allover feeling of unrest. However, it has meant plenty of quality time spent with my puppy and a Papa Daisy coffee date too! I always panic about slower weeks but realize that I truly do relish quieter days, no pressure of ‘planned weekend fun’ and being able to see my parents much more than most. Onto the week before and the week ahead then!

一. I started the week with a much overdue lunch date with one of my oldest friends, Heidi. We decided to head to Aubaine (their newish one in Selfridges!) and indulge in lobster rolls and delicious coffee whilst catching each other up on everything from our offbeat work lives, all things L O V E, our families and more. I’ve known Heidi since I was a few months old and it was just nice to laugh, gossip and eat together. Oh, and Aubaine comes very highly recommended from us both! The interiors! The food!
二. Of course I downloaded the Pokemon Sun and Moon demo on Tuesday, how could I not?! Although I’ve already preordered the game ahead of next month’s release, I think I might be slightly underwhelmed? Or perhaps I’m just overwhelmed by how different the gameplay is. Sun and Moon is set on an island as opposed to a traditional region, Team Skull are frankly embarrassing and there are no Gyms. I’m a bit confused as to how I feel about it all, but I suppose it plays in to how they’re trying to create a bridge between the original games and Pokemon GO. On a related note… HOMG I NEED THE NINTENDO SWITCH. Trailer here if you’ve been sat patiently under a rock.

三. Next weekend, my boyfriend and I have plans to see Edward Scissorhands(!!) at Harvey Nichol’s Out There Cinema. Hosted by Canada Goose, we’re going to be spending our Halloween in an Arctic themed outdoor cinema!! Hawt dayum. So excited! What are you doing for Halloween? See you there, maybe?
四. Tomorrow I’m headed out to Dorking to begin wedding dress shopping with my best friend, Ebony. I’m so ridiculously excited - I’ve never been Maid of Honour for somebody before! I’m also excited to give her her engagement gift, a personalised My Little Wedding Book and all of the Hotel Chocolat chocolate!
