{ 07 - 13·03·16 }
一. Well wasn’t that the fastest week of them all?! Somehow we’re at the halfway mark of March *sob* and I’m not entirely sure how we arrived here. This week I’ve mostly been enjoying some quality time in my home office working away at various projects. I feel much more settled now and am back to my tiptop self, freelancing for a handful of beloved clients. Ever need some words or editorial copy, gimme a bell!
äşŒ. As with every year, Mama Daisy worked on Mother’s Day last Sunday so we celebrated it together on Monday, instead. My Mama hasn’t had a real day off since we opened the restaurant in 2007(!!) and she always dreams of being a lady of leisure that can go for afternoon tea. So… I booked us in for a dreamy afternoon tea at my favorite joint - sketch. We had the most wonderful mother-daughter afternoon together - just the pair of us - chattering away about goals, plans, family memories, things I’d missed out on and much more! Best afternoon ever.
三. Picked up a hanging clothes rail on Monday and had a total slapstick evening with my Dad trying to assemble it. I finally have another home for my clothes and it looks damn good with my rose gold hangers. I’m a blogging cliche and I freaking love it.

ĺ››. I just LOVE my pineapple blogging girl gang. These chicas have been there almost since the very start and I’m over the moon to be home and reunited with them! We headed out for an obligatory birthday meal on Tuesday and I settled upon Shackfuyu, another spin-off from the Bonedaddies family. Oh so recommended! I’ll shimmy a post up on that ASAP.
äş”. Yesterday I saw my best friend marry the love of her life… and cried like a baby. She’s the first of our clan to get hitched and it feels so surreal! Isn’t it just the strangest feeling? Are we grown-ups now?! I had the most perfect time surrounded by some of my oldest friends.
ĺ…. Today has been all about hanging with my brother and sister doing a spot of Ja-planning and being general idiots together. Next week we’re headed to Japan for two weeks so I won’t be able to post any Sundaze updates for the coming two Sundays. I’m hoping to find some time tomorrow or on Tuesday to get a few posts scheduled to tide the blog over! Busy busy at the moment in all of the best ways.
