Sunday Summary | Hello Autumn

It's now definitely Autumn - trust me, I've had to de-ice my car windscreen twice this week and those dark nights are slowly rolling in. But that's not a bad thing, with my birthday last week (and I'm still trying to get through all the cake) and the chill in the air, I'm looking forward to cosy knits and hot chocolates.
This week I spent some time in Manchester, had my first real taste of Spanish tapas, drank a cocktail served in a light bulb and sat front row for a fashion show. Safe to say, it's been pretty busy. So much so, I've only just opened this box of chocolate I received as one of my (very generous) birthday gifts from work colleagues. They look amazing and so far (with the two I've tried) they taste really good too. 
So aside from my excitement with chocolates and just food in general this week (the hotel in Manchester gave us complimentary sweets - dolly mixtures if you were wondering) I've had a productive half a week at work. Only 4 weeks in but I feel like I'm sort of getting my head around it all - hopefully I'm not speaking too soon!
On Hello Freckles this week I shared my usual monthly post, 5 From This Month and my new Ash boots. There'll be spa news up early next week, so if you like your treatments, watch out for that.
Also next week, the NE Blogger Awards shortlist will be announced so I'll be keeping my fingers tightly crossed for some good news there.
