Sunday Summary | A Long Weekend

I never really appreciated bank holidays until I started working full time. Now I really enjoy knowing I have a 3 day weekend, or in this case, I've had a 5 day weekend that started on Thursday and I've definitely tried to make the most of it.
This week I've managed to fit in two cinema trips (Spooks on Tuesday and Mad Max later today) food at River Bar - I seem to be there almost on a weekly basis lately! a day over in Grasmere on Thursday, a rather fancy three course lunch on Friday and a trip to the Metro Centre on my way home. If you're going to be there over the next few weeks make sure you pick up one of their magazines from the information desk - I'm in it!

This weekend's been quiet compared to the past couple days with my fancy meals and fresh air in the Lake District. I watched Eurovision last night for the first time in years. I expected more cheesy pop but it was quite entertaining. I'm glad Sweden won, I liked Australia and Belgium's entry felt very Lorde inspired. Staying on the music theme, now seems a good time to mention that tomorrow I'll be seeing Foo Fighters so let's keep our fingers crossed it doesn't rain!
