Last week I took a break from my usual Sunday Summary posts to share my thoughts on Berlin. Today I'm back so let's get a cuppa and have a chat about this week and February plans!
Lately I've been really enjoying Dragonfly Tea* Chai, especially in this glass mug. They kindly sent me a few different flavours to try out and this is the one I've been drinking most, though I'm sure I'll share my thoughts on them all very soon. I don't think I drink any more tea than the average person does; maybe 2-3 cups a day, depending on whether I'm at work. Since starting a full-time job in July I've noticed that making a cuppa is a big part of the daily cycle. It seems the kitchen run is a chance to do one or more things; catch up with colleagues, take a break from staring at a screen, or sometimes just to get away and clear your head if there's something on your mind.
This week, I've introduced my new Ash boots and shared my new feature which seems to be getting a good response. This top from Poppylux* adds a little bit of sparkle to my rather monochrome wardrobe, though I am now down a pair of black jeans since dramatically falling over on Friday walking home and ripping a hole in them (and my knee) Even though it's cropped, it's still wearable and will be great to layer over my simple bodycon dresses and wear with high-waisted jeans.
If you're fancying a cinema trip, go see Ex Machina. I saw it on Friday night and it's really good, nice to see Domhnall Gleeson in another film after About Time and of course, the Harry Potter series as Bill Weasley. Aside from cinema trips, we made cookies that very loosely resemble dinosaurs (when we make a better batch, I'll put up a quick post/recipe if you're interested) and I've looked at another car to try and narrow down my search! Maybe by the end of this month I'll know what it is I'm after and be in a position to buy one
