I feel like this week has flown by! I had Monday and Tuesday off before starting my new job on Wednesday and let me tell you; trying to fit 5 days of work into 3 is no mean feat! I can definitely tell the new role is more demanding but it's more fun to have responsibility and be able to make more decisions.I got some amazing news on Tuesday and I'm feeling very proud of Hello Freckles. I made the shortlist for Best Lifestyle Blog in the NE Blogger Awards which is incredible. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who nominated me and I'm so excited to attend the Awards Evening in a couple of weeks. I just need to find something nice to wear now...Today I've been to York with my sister and met up with our aunt. It's always nice to have time to see family and it's something I really wanna do more often. I got a chance to see the Lush Christmas stock and ooooh my, I'm gonna be needing some of that! Expect lots of it to crop up on Hello Freckles in the near future.No trip to York is fully complete without a visit to Betty's. I'd really like to go back for their afternoon tea sometime and hopefully get along to some of their events at the Harrogate Tea Rooms; Jo Malone, Liz Earle and Estée Lauder ones are all coming up!Tonight I'm trying to get lots prepared for next week, there'll be a couple of beauty posts coming up and I'm off for a little spa visit next Saturday which is really exciting. I'll also be reading more of Gone Girl, which I've been hooked on since I started it on Wednesday. Don't forget to enter my Camden Town giveaway here, you've got until 14th October!
