It's been a very challenging week and no doubt the highlight was our family day trip to Harrogate today. It poured with rain pretty much the entire time (thanks hurricane Bertha!) but it was lovely to get away somewhere. I ended up playing spot the yellow bicycle since they're dotted all over the town center as a reminder of the Tour De France passing through. Our main reason for going was to visit Betty's - I'll have a post up about our visit soon, so cake fiends keep an eye out! It was lovely and I very much enjoyed my afternoon patisserie selection and coffee.
A close second highlight this week would have to be getting my hair sorted yesterday. I'll have a post up on that sometime this week hopefully, but I'm way happier with it now. If you keep up with me on instagram, you'll probably see a photo or two on there soon too.
I'm actually typing this tonight with a hoody on. Yes, a hoody in August! Anyway, I think I'll leave it there for tonight as I've got a couple outfits to pick out for my potential guest appearance in a TV advert that's being filmed this next week, some stuff to look over for work and I think an early night could be on the cards!
