As you may know from my previous post, I started my new job this week! My first week has gone really well. It was a bit of an information overload on Monday but I think I've settled in to the role well and everyone I work with is great. Starting in July has given me a bit of an advantage as it's pretty quiet, so I've got time to get my head around everything and be prepared for when it gets busier around September/October.
This weekend has been particularly challenging due to receiving some absolutely devastating news. I don't want to go into detail as I hope you'll appreciate, and while I did consider taking a break from blogging, I've decided against that. I want to keep being creative and work to make Hello Freckles the best that I can. If anything, I feel like having this outlet will help by keeping me busy.
If you're from the North East, you'll know it's been the Sunderland Airshow this weekend and the weather has been great for it (makes a change ey?). I don't always go, but this year I felt I had to and although it was incredibly difficult, I'm glad I did.
