If you follow me via social media and you've seen Thursday's post, you'll already know what my big news is this week. I've been talking about it pretty much non-stop since Tuesday (I may have even brought it up in my video last night!) but I'm just so pleased to be featured in the magazine! Let me know if you picked up a copy of OK! Magazine and you've spotted me in Very. If you haven't and you'd like to, visit your local newsagents or supermarket tomorrow and pick one up as the new copy will be out Tuesday and this one will go off the shelves.
I visited a farm this week and spent hours fussing over baby animals. I even fed a lamb, although I think I was considerably older than all the others feeding them, since it was mostly little children! I actually vlogged the whole day so look out for that, it should be up on Wednesday hopefully - depends how hectic this next week is!
On (a very rainy) Tuesday I went along for food with some other bloggers in Newcastle. Chloe and I devoured this sharing platter at The Town Wall. Lovely place, reasonably priced food and I'll definitely be going back when I get this dissertation finished and submitted! It was great to see people and meet some new faces too.
The past three days I've been working with a group of students visiting from Hong Kong. It's been great to learn about their culture while showing them around university and places in the North East. We took them to Newcastle on Friday (and it rained, typical) then Alnwick yesterday, it's just been so lovely to meet them.
I'll leave you with this photo of me during my broomstick training yesterday at Alnwick Castle. Clearly I have the skills to go on and compete in the next Quidditch World Cup, don't you agree?
Let me know what you think of my new layout to these Sunday Summary posts. I hope you've had a great week!
