There's been a lot going on this week, let me take you through it!I went on a little road trip to Birmingham earlier this week, you can see my vlog here. I also got my nose pierced while we were there; something I've wanted to do for a long time but I'm still not 100% on the ring. Like any piercing I worry it won't heal well but I'm gonna keep an eye on it and I really hope it doesn't have any issues so I can switch to a little silver ring in 6 weeks time.
I wore false eyelashes for the first time this week! I know, a blogger who's never worn false eyelashes - madness! I've always been a bit funny about trying to apply them myself. Being one of those clumsy types, putting glue near my eyes has never seemed like a good idea. I think I might be more willing to give it a go after how nice they looked and ND Make Up did a fab job! I'll write up a full post on the event I attended at the weekend but it was lovely to meet some new faces and be back at a local event, especially one leading up to something as exciting as Newcastle Fashion Week!Today is my baby sister's 18th birthday, something I still can't fully come to terms with, as you may have noticed by the 'baby sister' reference. There's days when I still forget I'm 21! It's just strange because I remember when we were both little and would play with toys in the garden. I even remember the day she was born, pretty clearly too! She'll always be my baby sister, despite how old she is and I hope she's had a great day, not that I imagine she reads my blog...Watching: Game Of Thrones of course, as season 4 has arrived! My girl crush on Emilia Clarke has returned too, why can't I look like her and have dragons? Not fair!Listening: Manchester Orchestra live in Birmingham has to be one of the highlights of the week. They were so good live, damn I love some beefy guitars!Eating: Possibly the best pancakes for breakfast with my favorite person (yeah, I'm a soppy one) I'm actually going to do a full post on my little visit to Birmingham, it should be up next week!Wearing: My New Balance 410s have become my go-to shoes. So comfy and I love the burgundy shade!
