Sunburn Blisters - Is This A Serious Health Concern?

Sunburn blisters are common in many areas around the world. We see them on skin that has been exposed to the sun for a long time and still have not yet developed blisters. They are a visible sign of sunburn and it is often accompanied by dryness and redness.

When the sun is exposed to an intense amount of UV radiation, the skin begins to swell. This increases the amount of vitamin D in the body. Vitamin D is needed by the body to help fight off infections. Exposure to the sun has led to vitamin D levels being high enough to damage and blister the skin.

Sunburn blisters are most commonly caused by overexposure to the sun or getting overly hot. Frequent exposure can also lead to burning of the skin. Also, prolonged exposure can cause this type of swelling.

To prevent sunburn blisters, it is important to protect your skin from UV rays. There are certain times of the day when the sun is at its strongest so it is recommended that you use a wide-brimmed hat, sun-block cream, and sunglasses.

It is also important to remember that while the sun can cause sunburn blisters, it is not a primary cause. The sun is not a primary cause of sunburn blisters. Rather, sunlight is the major factor in causing skin damage and inflammation.

Typical sunburns

Sunburn blisters do tend to be more serious than typical sunburns. This is because they are more severe and have more long-term damage. While severe sunburn blisters will go away without medical attention, they will generally need to be treated with medications and/or bandages.

Prevention of sunburn blisters can be done by choosing to stay out of the sun as much as possible. You can also use a sunscreen to protect your skin. While wearing a sunscreen is extremely important, sunburn blisters are very difficult to treat and many times require medical attention.

Those with minor sunburn blisters are often advised to keep their hands and feet away from the sun. As much as possible, keep your hands out of the sun, particularly when your hands and feet are going to be exposed to the sun. You can apply a cold compress on your hands and feet and/or apply aloe vera or jojoba.

Medicine for Sunburn

Many people believe that common sense should always apply itself. Unfortunately, a lot of people can not apply common sense to certain situations. So you may have to seek out some help from professionals who can help you decide what is best for you.

Medical professionals have said that those who burn their hands and feet from sunburn blisters should avoid contact sports until the burn heals. In these cases, it would be a good idea to wear a sunscreen and gloves. Wearing sunscreen all the time can help protect your skin and prevent sunburn blisters.

As you can see, sunburn blisters are not something to be taken lightly. These little bumps can be quite painful if not properly treated.

The best thing you can do to avoid sunburn blisters is to avoid getting too hot while outdoors and to apply sunscreen. You can use a sunscreen with a sunblock cream or use an eye-protective film.
