Sun, Sea & Savings!

By Fashionvisuals @fashion_visuals

Following my one-week trip to the stunning Greek island – Rhodes, I have been nurtured by the sun and saturated with buckets of vitamin D. My holiday to Greece was one I took with my friends where we simply soaked up the sun around the pool by day and played cards whilst sipping cocktails by night which was just the type of holiday I needed!

Sun, Sea & Savings!

Since the start of 2013, I have become much more aware of my health and fitness and have made a real effort to cut out some bad habits. For starters, I have begun my healthier lifestyle by going to the gym 3-4 times a week which I am surprisingly enjoying! I have cut down on unnecessary snacking and have started to opt for foods rich in vital nutrients and vitamins such as fruit. Looking after my skin has also became an important part of my transformed lifestyle which has resulted in me picking up a proper skincare regime and protecting my skin from harmful rays by using high factor sun protection creams to hydrate my skin and protect it from the harmful sunrays. After all, nobody likes to look like a lobster with dodgy tan lines!

Sun, Sea & Savings!

As a result of my healthy living regime, I have managed to say goodbye to some of my podginess which has lead me towards greater body confidence. I must say, it is a great feeling being able to opt for the smaller size when shopping in your local high street stores!

With a few hours to kill, I came across the perfect shop in Newcastle Airport called Traveller which caught my eye with its on trend fashion pieces peaking out of the shop as I walked through customs. They sold loads my favorite brands including Ray-Ban, Havaianas and Yumi which was ideal for anybody who had forgotten any holiday essentials such as sunglasses, flipflops or even luggage! Whilst I’m pretty organised when it comes to packing my suitcase for a spot of travelling, I’ll definitely be checking out the Traveller website before I jet off to any future destinations as they have great savings for everyone.

Do you have any plans for the summer? What would be your ideal holiday destination?
