Shaman Colours is a psychedelic pop release with some interesting world music influences. Perhaps the best part of this EP is the fantastic mix of layers within each track – tribal-esque drums can be found alongside folky acoustic guitar or lush, tropical synths, and so on. This layering creates some great sounds and subtleties. It is this sort of experimentation and attention to detail that makes Sun Deers worth your time.
