"We wanted bright, bold, and warm colors of flowers to create a fresh and playful feel that would mimic our wedding stationery, which I designed. Ι adored our beautiful arch, which was exactly what we asked for, and Anna and her vendors from Crete For Love followed our inspiration pictures and ideas to a T. Our reception table was also magnificent and colorful, while still feeling cozy with the festoon lights hanging down from the table structure."
Crete For Love shared with us: "Jennie and Alex's elopement was a joyful celebration of love and color, filled with unique touches that made their day unforgettable. With their closest family and friends, they enjoyed an intimate and lively event that reflected their personalities and love story. The day started with preparations. Jennie, her mom, and her sister wore matching nightgowns and custom-made slippers. After getting their hair and makeup done, Jennie put on her beautiful wedding dress, complete with delicate jewelry and a veil that added a touch of magic. Alex looked sharp in his tailored suit, featuring unique turtle cufflinks. Beneath an elegant oval-shaped arch adorned with vibrant, colorful garden flowers, Jennie and Alex exchanged their heartfelt vows on the sandy beach. Following the ceremony, guests and newlyweds savored small bites and a variety of drinks. During the photoshoot, Jennie and Alex were caught in blissful moments against the stunning backdrop of the long seaside coast of Northern Crete, accentuated by the vibrant colors of the ceremony décor."
"Next, the celebration continued at the "Markakis Estate" a boutique, tranquil and charming venue cradled among olive groves and mountains, offering a perfect blend of warmth and elegance. The couple's selection of stationery, featuring modern and colorful designs to complement the day's theme, along with elegantly knotted blush pink napkins, added a touch of refinement to the occasion. As the sun set, everyone gathered under a beautifully lit structure adorned with flowers. Speeches from family and friends filled the air with heartfelt words and stories. The highlight of the evening was a performance by Cretan dancers, whose folklore program brought energy and cultural richness to the celebration. Guests were invited to the dance floor to experience and learn complex dance maneuvers of Cretan dances. A delicious dinner followed, featuring local dishes and international favorites, ensuring everyone was satisfied. Fun games added an element of playfulness to the evening, making everyone feel part of the joyous occasion. Cake cutting was a sweet moment, providing a delicious treat for all attendees. As the night came to an end, the newlyweds and their guests bid farewell with their hearts full of love. "
