Verdict on Sujo
Recap
The movie follows a young son of a Cartel gunman who gets raised by a stranger after his father is killed. He doesn’t have many opportunities and once he reaches adulthood, he finds a crossroads. He can either follow his father’s life or crime or find a way into education.
Best Parts
This movie shows how difficult the lives of people who are raised in poverty can be. His father could have offered a better life, but becoming a victim leaves him without the chances others get. The idea he is left without many options, other than crime or next to nothing, shows how easily people can fall into a life of crime. The leading performance is brilliant and the story is broken up into chapters that break up the life moments.
Final Thoughts – Sujo is a powerful, moving story of a broken life.
