Post-holiday of a lifetime mood.
Honey, we’re home! And it feels so odd to be back in England. It’s really damn cold, for one. And it’s pretty damn festive absolutely everywhere except our home. After three weeks away in Asia, everything British feels a bit strange and oddly comforting. I think I’m still jetlagged and I’ve definitely picked up some sort of bug on the way home because I’ve been drinking Lemsip on tap all day.
I’m not even sure where to begin with this update post.
Post-Holiday Round-Up
I didn’t take many photos whilst we were away - in fact, I didn’t even take my DSLR! This was the first holiday that I’ve done sans cameras since starting this blog and it felt pretty good to be disconnected and to remove the unspoken pressure of ‘creating content’ out of downtime. Truth be told, I was pretty damn burnt out right before we flew. Running a business and launching a new one is actually pretty exhausting! Who would’ve thunk it? So, yeah, I’ve a few post ideas lined up with holiday photos but they won’t be of the quality that I usually share.Honey + Chai
Just in case you hadn’t heard, I’ve opened my own shop! The newest venture in my business is my baby Honey + Chai and I’ve been totally blown away by your support so far. The shop has been more than a year in the making and it’s been the toughest yet most worthwhile thing I’ve ever done. On my flight to Bali, I spent a little time outlining plans for my blog next year. I’ve always maintained that my blog is sadly not my job but I’m determined to put even more time and energy into this space in 2017 and to finally get back onto YouTube! I pretty much stagnated on all of my channels after my Granny sadly passed away but I think I’m ready to get back into things at full force. I’ve pencilled in some exciting new content and series ideas for both my blog and channel, but please do let me know if there are things you’ve always wanted to see me do or that you’d like me to bring back.Well! That’s me done for a little blog-admin update on here! Normal service will resume this week with plenty of travel posts, festive ideas and a handful of other things. My gosh, it’s kinda good to be back.
