Recognition for Helensburgh Gem
It's been far too long since we were last at Sugar Boat and with the latest news, it will be a battle we are sure to get a table! Sugar Boat has been awarded the AA Restaurant of the Year (Scotland). 👏
Sugar Boat was founded in 2017 by Will Smith, co-founder of Michelin-starred Arbutus and Wild Honey, and is named after the sunken MV Captayannis which can be seen from the shore at Helensburgh.
Will Smith said "What can I say, suffice that we are all absolutely thrilled to receive this award. It's down to the dedication, loyalty and hard work of my team, especially Scott Smith my head chef.
It's an enormous privilege to be recognised on a national level by such a respected organisation and we hope this achievement will help bring Sugar Boat to a much wider audience."
Congratulations again to everyone at Sugar Boat for winning AA Restaurant of the Year (Scotland)
