Styling The Summer Co-Ord

Hello Freckles River Island Co ord styling personal style outfit fashionI know what you're thinking, florals again?

And you're right, I am fond of a floral print. But I know sometimes what I see on rails in the high street stores can be daunting. Can I pull off wearing a co-ord/playsuit? What shoes do I pair with that dress? Do I pick a matching shoe/bag combo to accent the dress, or do I match it in to one of the colours? And in the case of this cami/short co-ord* which I picked up from Silverlink shopping park on a recent trip, do I go for khaki, baby pink, blue, orange, white, black? So many options and a girl doesn't have that many shoes (who am I kidding...?) This brought me on to today's post and I want to show you how you can style a two piece/co-ord to suit you and feel comfortable.

I added a blazer for a little cover up and I find it finishes off the outfit quite nicely too. You could also skip the clutch bag if you wanted and just use your coat pockets as sadly these shorts don't have any.

The cami with white jeans.
I know white jeans are another seasonal trend that can divide the nation, so you could always go for black jeans, coated jeans or even a light blue wash to tie in with the blue floral accents. I've popped my pink All Saints Balfern biker on top for coverage on the cooler summer evenings. The cami and jeans is so easy, possibly the easiest way to wear the print.

The broderie anglaise shirt and the shorts.
Now my Dad said I looked like I was wearing a doily, but I think this top is really cute. (similar here) It's very girly and works with the shorts for dressing up the outfit, but goes equally well with some blue jeans. If you wanted to dress the outfit down you could wear a black bodysuit, or just a simple tee.

How would you style this co-ord? Wear the two together or focus on one floral piece?
