Last month, I had another pinch me moment with CABI when they flew me to New York to experience the CABI Scoop Fall Collection Launch Party at their chic downtown showroom. Um, seriously, right?! They are like my fashion fairy godmothers on steroids!!
It was an amazing event with the chance to connect with other style loving ladies, and we all had CABI love in common. Two meetings that I'm most grateful for are with Alison of Wardrobe Oxygen and Nicole of Mom Trends. (I mentioned Alison during my first monthly recap of #ManicMomDay.) These ladies are THE REAL DEAL! They are smart, busy, and hard-working mommas that have their stuff together and then some. It was really inspiring to just listen to them chat about business, life, and how to manage it all.

That's the beauty of CABI and has been the backbone of their organization. They connect women because we NEED those relationships to thrive and survive! You have heard me sing praises about CABI over and over because they are such a great company through and through (especially how they give back to the community mentioned in this post). Anyhow, I digress...
I loved seeing how everyone styled their pieces from the Spring 2018 Collection. I chose the gingham and wore it as a top. Surprisingly, it was thick enough that I didn't need a tube top underneath! Although I looked cute, it was NOT the best choice for trying on pieces over my scarf top since I was on the verge of ripping it off every time I took off a jacket! LOL!
In that FABULOUS New York showroom, they had ALL of the Fall 2018 Collection pieces out. I was like a kid in a candy store and trying on everything. I wanted ALL the shoes, jewelry, and 90% of the jackets. WHY Sam? Why must you be obsessed with jackets when you already have enough?
We watched the fashion shows (ALWAYS my favorite AND least favorite part because I WANT EVERYTHING) and the keynote speech from the CEO. Check out the highlights from the CABI Scoop runway show for yourself below!!
I say this almost every year, but I'm IN LOVE with the Fall Collection. This year, they have some GORGEOUS neutrals like army green and blush in addition to FABULOUS animal print! Plus, their attention to details never ceases to amaze me, and I'm OBSESSED with all the pearl embellishments. In case you didn't know it, I'm DEFINITELY a pearl girl!
Just for fun, I styled two different outfits with the current Fall Collection! It's always better to see it on a person anyway! Hope you enjoy and please let me know if you have any questions about sizing!

This corduroy journey jacket was on the top of the WANT list when I tried it on at the party. It's a vintage made modern piece that will be a perfect topper for dresses to jeans. The color is divine, a rich brown, and I love the exaggerated lapel. I'm wearing it with the Put-On Dress which is basically like a sweatshirt dress (aka super comfy)!! We were gifted the leopard scarf as a gift from the Scoop Launch party, and I foresee it being worn A LOT throughout the season. Let's NOT forget to mention the Dandy Boots which are SO FLATTERING and comfortable. They are a grey plaid and the kitten heels make it all-day-wearable. P.S. Aren't those earrings the COOLEST? You can also wear it reversed so that it becomes an oversized pearl earring!
It was in the 100s outside so we finished our shoot at Angie's place against this fun pink backdrop! Anyhow, I could NOT resist the pearls on this barn jacket. It's plaid and pearls which makes it the PERFECT transitional layering piece. It's thin enough to throw on over a tee for added warmth, and the colors are so Fall Ready! I wore it with fantastic neutrals like the pink play pullover and grey high straight jeans. FYI, I tried to roll the jeans cool (like Kat and Becky do) by rolling it up once and then again on itself but unevenly - so that it looks messy! Let's not forgot those amazing booties again!
SO WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE FALL COLLECTION?! I wish that Texas weather would cooperate sooner than January because I'm ready to bust out the Fall gear!
Happy Monday Friends! Sorry about the radio silence last week! I've been playing catch up with things and trying to get the house and the littles ready for their new school. Plus, I seemed to have a lot of social things going on last week (like Cathy and Stacey's birthday) which was A LOT for me! I'm normally a homebody! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Thank you so much for stopping by and supporting SOS! I truly appreciate it!
