I've simply layered up this smple striped jersey dress from Topshop. As previously mentioned it is annoyingly hard to dress around this time of year, but that doesn't mean to stop trying to make an effort. I went for a few drinks at the pub with a friend and this is what I wore, I wanted to dress up but not look over done. I could quite happily add leggings and ballet pumps for a day to day look. I've added ruby red lipstick from Bourjois to set the look off. I think I've just about managed a happy balance!
