STYLE: Retro Shades Part 2

By Jsleigh14 @jsleigh14

Although retro sunglasses are hit fashion items that can be pricey, there are definitely some budget options available. The last two retro shades I’m going to talk about were both purchased at steal prices, but that doesn’t make me like them any less.

4. Marni x H&M Square Sunglasses

I’m all for these Marni x H&M Square Sunglasses that I got for just $25. They are very trendy and versatile but yet they didn’t put a hole in my wallet. I also really like the plastic framing of these glasses since it makes them light and comfortable to wear. Although these shades are all sold out in H&M stores now, they are currently still available on ebay.

5. Banana Republic “Corbin” Tortoise Shell Wayfarers

Another great pair of steal retro shades I own are these Banana Republic Corbin Wayfarers that retail for just $78. What’s even better is that there are often discounts at Banana Republic that apply to accessories as well. It’s been said that Banana Republic manufactures their sunglasses through the same companies as higher brands such as Dior and Gucci, so you definitely get a lot of bang-for-your-buck here. These wayfarers are similar to my Ray-Ban ones but have a nice vintage tortoise shell print on them. I always leave these shades in my car for driving because they’re so lightweight that I don’t mind wearing them for extended time periods. And of course, they match with everything.
