Retro Band Tees are a favorite of mine because they remind us of music and culture that once dominated the world. Around this time last year I picked up a The Who tee at H&M, and this year I got one with the legendary Beatles. Although I didn’t grow up listening to the Beatles music in the 60′s, I am actually quite a fan of the interesting lyrics that they used in their songs. After all, we all live in a yellow submarine.

I’m actually very pleased with how much I wear I got out of these yellow shorts this summer (also styled here and here). I got them amidst opposing opinions about them from friends, but I was daring and decided to give them a shot. Turns out, there were actually lots of opportunities to pair these shorts with blues and blacks, and I’ve gotten lots of compliments about them too. Surely keeping them in my closet for next summer.
