Style: London Fashion Week Day 3 SS13

By Annamoss84 @missanniebean
My style for day 3 was going to be retro inspired.  I'd initially worried about putting myself out there to an uncomfortable level, but as I'd played it pretty safe with my outfit the day before, I thought I'd roll with it.
Style: London Fashion Week Day 3 SS13 Today I was going to be different, even if only mildly.  I decided I'd go for high waisted trousers as these suit my curvy shape, along with wedges, and a bodycon.  I'd teamed this with a velvet cropped jacket that has been knocking around for years, however it certainly seemed to do the trick.

Onward to Somerset House I went with my large suitcase in hand and my hair in a sleek ponytail.  Something was clearly missing from my entire look, but luckily I was off to visit my friends at the Toni&Guy blow dry bar. The day prior I'd had a quick trim and my hair styled in a volumized manor, today I wanted to be different.

I'd previously read about their Fashion Fix hair styles that were being launched in Toni&Guy salons on the 24th September, and thought I'd give one a try.  I went for retro rolls, but it was adapted to suit my face shape. Personally I'm very self conscious about how round my face is, so I don't tend to have it too exposed.

I don't know if I could even attempt to recreate this myself!  The lovely lady who did this for me, explained you can go into your local Toni&Guy salon, pay £25.00, you get your hair styled and you get a free mini product.  I certainly believe this is ideal if you have a big event to attend or maybe even a wedding? There are different options you can chose from dependent on the look you're aiming for.

It took 30 minutes and it completely transformed my look.  Everyone loved it, and I got more attention out on the cobbles, than I did have before!  If I had a choice again, I'd certainly pay £25.00 to get such a creation done again.
They used label.m products whilst styling my hair.  They use these same products whilst creating any of the otherFashion Fix pieces.  They used the resurrection style dust, hairspray &  hold & gloss spray, which volumized and helped to keep my hair in place.  The day before when I had my hair styled, by Toni&Guy hairdresser Joanne Leigh from Preston, used a variety of superb label.m products.  She started by washing my hair with the organic blossom shampoo & conditioner, then proceeded to use volume mouse, thickening cream, resurrection style dust and of course hairspray.  It totally transformed my hair!

The bag was my dream bag.  It was one of the latest designs from Fiorelli and perfect for me, as I tend to pack the world for even the smallest trip.  I never know what I want to carry with me, so why should I miss out?!  This bag was stunning, with a evergreen snake skin print, teamed with black faux fur and gems attached.  It'll be no surprise to any of you this gorgeous piece is called Fiorelli Gaga Large Foldover Satchel Crossbody Emeraldand is £79.00.  This fantastic bag, had a clip on strap, so you can either put it over you and wear it like a satchel or unclip the strap and hold it on your arm. I was in love.
