Style: Garden Party

By Annamoss84 @missanniebean

annie bean We had a celebration this weekend for my boyfriends 29th birthday.  We decided to have a BBQ as the weather was nice and enjoy sitting in the garden at my parents house...soon we'll be inviting everyone to our new house for BBQs!
Style: Garden PartyAfter visiting the Chelsea Flower Show I feel more and more aware of certain flowers, for example this old English rose (pictured below) with its innocent elegance.

Primark floral dress For this particular occasion I decided to wear my new Primark Floral Bow Back Dress, which was £17.00.  I don't usually shop in Primark but saw this in Selfridges and fell in love.  To me it doesn't look or feel like typical Primark and its the perfect combination of being feminine, comfortable and summery.

I played on the aqua flashes from the dress and added my Fossil handbag, totally ideal for using casually but still classic.  I had a little beige cardigan from New Look, my Topshop tan shoes and chunky necklace, all of which seemed to work excellent together.

I absolutely love this dress and many people couldn't believe it was Primark - me included! Have you been having garden parties?  What have you been wearing?
