The weather here in New Orleans has been surprisingly mild all winter long this season. While we’ve had a few bone chilling days here and there, the temps have (thankfully) been pretty kind to us. While I’m loving the 60 and at times 70 degree temps smack dab in the dead of winter, the conundrum of dressing appropriately for the season while not sweating my butt off is a daily reality. On days like those, I reach for my go to of light layers – which usually include something not too heavy layered on top of whatever shirt I throw on , and a cute boot to finish everything off. This fun poncho definitely fits the bill when it comes to light layers, and I’ve been living in these ankle booties (which by the way are so good, that they continue to be restocked season after season) for about 3 years now. This combo also gets bonus points for being super cozy – it doesn’t get much better than wearing practically a blanket out in public. Who’s with me?
