Verdict on Street Trash

Recap

The movie follows a group of homeless fighting back against the government which is trying to get rid of them. They have developed a substance that causes deadly consequences knowing the additions can take over. However, the small group is prepared to equal the odds.

Best Parts

The gore effects are the highlight of the movie. We get a host of gnarly gruesome deaths from start to finish, some that could be hard to watch for the weak of heart. There is also a story about the rich and poor having a big divide, which causes a ripple effect in society.

Worst Parts

The characters feel like a series of accidental heroes, as they stumble into most of the situations. It doesn’t portray the homeless as people who want to clean themselves up, happier to be seen as addicts. The overall story feels empty as it has more focus on the gore chaos involved.

Final Thoughts Street Trash is gory, and gruesome but struggles in the story.
