Seattle–based Ladies & Gentlemen Studio is comprised of husband and wife designers Jean Lee and Dylan Davis. The two met while studying Industrial Design at the University of Washington in Seattle and founded Ladies & Gentlemen Studio in 2010, for which they design and create products that blend unexpected materials and refined silhouettes that celebrate the simplicity of function.

Although Jean Lee and Dylan Davis like working with many materials, their focus is on mixing and matching them. Lee says, “The [Perimeter Tray] is a perfect example in how we play with the different materials while celebrating its materiality and function.” The piece is comprised of a walnut wood surface, powder-coated aluminum perimeter, brass handles, and a Carrera marble insert. “People can use it to serve tea or coffee with treats, cheese and crackers, make breakfast in bed meals, or simply use it as a platform to display things," Lee says.

The Perimeter Tray is also available in oak with powder-coated aluminum handles.
