Strawberries have got to be the prettiest fruit, don’t you think? The bright red color, the little heart shape and those little spots on the outside – gorgeous!! But of course, a strawberry’s beauty is within it! The mix of sweetness and tartness makes it a palate-pleaser. So it’s no wonder that it’s so popular around Valentine’s Day! In the spirit of the season, we have a brightly colored and juicy blend of strawberries and curd – a Strawberry Lassi recipe for you and the whole family.

Strawberry Lassi

Here's a great recipe to make use of strawberries while they're still in season - a refreshing Strawberry Lassi for kids!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup strawberries , washed, hulled and chopped roughly
  • 1 cup curd (use curd which is not very sour)
  • 1-2 tablespoon cane sugar / honey / Jaggery powder

Ingredients needed for Strawberry Lassi Recipe

Method:

1. Add all the ingredients into a blender jar.

Add all ingredients into a mixie jar

2. Pulse 3-4 times to get a smooth and lump-free mixture.

Strawberry Lassi

3. Pour into a tall glass and serve right away.

Serve the lassi immediately

Strawberry lassi can be served to babies after 8 months of age , but without adding honey or sugar. You may add a little cardamom powder to add some flavor.
