Exactly an year ago on February 21 Siddharth and Samantha came together for the first time in Jabardasth. It is no secret that this Nandini Reddy directed film was lifted big time from the Hindi film Band Baaja Baarat. As soon as the controversy broke out the makers of the original, Yash Raj Films got an injunction to bar the film from releasing in Tamil as nothing could be done on the Telugu front.
Now exactly a year later official remake of the film Band Baaja Baarat hits the screen tomorrow. Starring Nani and Vani Kapoor, Yash Raj Films had to settle with making the film directly in Tamil and dubbing it in Telugu thanks to the release of the film Jabardasth even though it stars Nani who is a popular actor in Telugu. Nani already had a disappointing Paisa two weeks ago, will this add to the disappointment and have the same fate as Jabardasth, we have to wait and see how things pan out after release.
