Inspired by ‘Coffee and Cigarettes’, the series of short films from Jim Jarmusch,Stolen set out to create a sensory experience that fuels creative conversations. Distillation and aging takes place in the Caribbean where the rum matures in ex-bourbon oak barrels for 2 years where after it’s blended by hand. Add in Fenugreek from Morocco, Vanilla Bean from Madagascar and Arabica Coffee Beans from Columbia and you have a rum with a smoky toffee aroma on the nose with a coffee, smoke and butterscotch finish in the mouth. If the conversation in the room becomes dull and awkward as in ‘Coffee and Cigarettes’ break out the Stolen rum and drink enough so that everybody becomes interesting again.
