Car stolen in DC found in PGCo with baby unharmed, Tide theft ring hitting Bowie Safeway, HUGE cocaine ring arrests include father, son, daughter
Early this morning, around 7:30am, a mother had her vehicle stolen in the 3800 block of Suitland Road; her 5 month old baby was still inside. Thankfully the vehicle and baby have been located in the 4200 block of Rail Street in PGCo. No word on the crook who stole the car.
Tide thieves have been loading up at a Bowie Safeway and reselling the product to convenience stores at cut-rate prices. Prince George’s County Police seemed to have busted up the 3-4 person theft ring.
I guess 76 year old Joe Thomas, father of Andre Linwood Brown and Kimberly Delores Boone wanted to keep the cocaine business all in the family. These three, along with 24 others mostly from Prince George’s County, have been charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute cocaine. The indictment also includes a forfeiture allegation seeking all proceeds derived from the crimes, as well as assets used to commit the offenses. If convicted, the defendants face a minimum of 10 years in custody and a maximum of life in prison.
The FBI, MPD, U.S. Park Police, Prince George’s County Police, the U.S. Marshals Service and the Maryland State Police joined forces to coordinate the search of eleven locations in Maryland and three in the District of Columbia.
