Since I’ve seen, done and photographed so many things in Stockholm it took me a while to go through all the pictures and decide what I’d share with you guys, because sharing all of it would be a total overload. So I’ve picked out the highlights (besides from the posts already published last week) and put it in what is still quite a big photo diary – I hope you’ll enjoy it!
No day, especially not a busy fashion week day starts without a good breakfast! I stayed at the gorgeous and modern HTL Hotels located super central and had the best bed – and breakfast! Definitely a place where I’d stay again if I go back to Stockholm, which is hopefully soon!
Also: how gorgeous is Stockholm?
A great ensemble in grid print at the AltewaiSaome show.
And dinner with bloggers and photographers that I’ve met there, some of which have even become friends. Another tip: go eat at the gorgeous Berns, don’t let the interior fool you, they have great modern asian food and sushi!
Amazing off shoulder and asymmetrical layering at the BACK by Ann Sofie Back show, one of my favorites! It’s like Ann Sofie read my mind – that off shoulder coat though!
Of course there’s the blog as well, here’s a behind the scenes snap from when me and my Stockholm Fashion Week-partner in crime Labériane were taking pictures.
We also HAD to visit the Acne Archives where I found these trousers in exactly the same print and fabric as my sneakers, I just had to get them and match them together!
The Cheap Monday SS15 show was such a fun show – at a pool where the models walked around the pool and at the end of the show they all took off their shoes and jumped in! The 2 looks you see above are my favorite looks, I have a weak spot for a touch of grunge and wouldn’t mind wearing that skirt in the first picture at all!
And of course, there were parties. Really good parties. On the left you see a picture from the Cheap Monday 10 years anniversary party which was at a really cool outside underground location, so much fun! On the right, me and the gorgeous Tine at the Fashion Week Closing Party. So much fun and so much champagne that night!
Basic chic done very very well at Deitas SS15. That white skirt in the 1st picture, want!
What I mostly took from the shows in Stockholm was great inspiration for simplicity, which nobody does better than the scandinavians. I’ve also seen off-shoulder shapes continuing for SS15 which I’m very excited about, and great asymmetrical pieces as well. Also seen a lot: shirt dresses, but upgraded and layered. On top of the list: the Swedes showed great styling in layering. Blouses under shirts, skirts over pants (also see the Carin Wester show) – something I’ll definitely start applying for fall – layering season!
Before the Dagmar SS15 presentation, I wore Dagmar coat and crop top, but more images of this outfit tomorrow!
I had the best time, Stockholm is gorgeous, I already want to go back. A big thanks to everybody who made it happen!
