Northern Lighting by Hareide Design back in 2010 – only now split in two – and hanging on a wall. Illusion Half is presented for the first time at the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2012 at the Northern Lighting Nordic Plank Bar.
Traditional crafts meet experimental design process -collection CRAFTWORKS by industrial designer Clara Lindsten is a blend of traditional craft and modern design process, experiments with production techniques and
re-interpretations of classical shapes:
Octagon stool is built on an oversized classical rattan weaving in leather and metal. Weavings is a reappearing element in the collection. It is based on influences from spending one year in Vietnam, where Clara developed environmental friendly design for the rattan industry with WWF. She also worked on a project about creating new design within handicraft, initiated by UN.
