Oh what good news! Kristen Stewart has managed to land yet another role in hollywood despite her lack of talent (one facial expression) and the recent scandal concerning her infidelity to her boyfriend of three years, Robert Pattinson. By now, we are all fully aware that Stewart, 22, was caught having a steamy affair with Rupert Saunders, 41, the married director of her last film “Snow White and the Huntsman”.

Stewart will be acting in Scott Cooper’s adaption of the 1956 novel by William Styron called, Lie Down in Darkness. If rumors are true, Stewart will be playing the 19-year-old daughter, Peyton Loftis. According to sources, Stewart won the role over Jennifer Lawrence, the main actress from the Hunger Games. Lawrence told W Magazine that “I am obsessed with that part, I have this feeling of protectiveness over characters I want to play. I worry about them — if someone else gets the part, I’m afraid they won’t do it right; they’ll make the character a victim or they’ll make her a villain or they’ll just get it wrong somehow.” Sorry to say that Lawrence’s fears may just come true, because when it comes to acting, lets just say Stewart is lacking in talent.

Despite my personal views on Kristen Stewart and her acting, I feel as though getting the part in this movie will be a good distraction from the media and her fans picking apart her personal life and the decisions she has made. As for how the movie will turn out, I guess we will just have to watch it to see.
