Stephen Pyles Wants Kids To Eat More Veggies. So Do I! Stephen Pyles Wants Kids To Eat More Veggies. So Do I!Celebrity Chef Stephan Pyles will be hosting a Lunch Break for Schools fundraiser next week to raise money to support the Chefs Move to Schools program’s efforts to encourage healthier eating by kids – including eating more vegetables.
And what Mother wouldn't support that cause!
Inspired by the recent news of the updated White House recommended school lunch menu and the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act, the fundraising event will raise funds to promote healthy eating habits and proper nutrition amongst children.
The lunchtime fundraiser will be hosted in his restaurant on February 28 & 29, and will be open to the public. Pyles has prepared a special prix fixe lunch to help support nutrition education in schools.
I've made my reservation. I hope to see you there!
