Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton) has recently said he was in the market for a bride when he met wife Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse). They both met on the set of their HBO show True Blood and wen on to marry in Malibu in 2010. At the time he was not thinking about marriage.
“I certainly wasn’t looking for a wife when I started. Neither of us were looking. And perhaps that’s the point – when you’re looking in the wife shop, you can never find one. And then one comes along when you’re least expecting it.”
He has said that the couple has missed working together so much in the last season when the relationship between Bill Compton and Sookie Stackhouse came to an end. Stephen has said this about the two of them working together:
“Anna and I love working together, it’s all we’ve ever known, so we kind of miss it, but I think they realized halfway through season one that our show works best when there’s conflict.”
He also hinted that season five will bring a lot more changes to Bill and Sookie. Hearing that makes waiting for the new season that much harder.
